Creation Of Community Orchard

Dronfield Town Council has agreed to the creation of a Community Orchard, which will be located on a small section of land located between Poplar Close, Chestnut Close, Highgate Drive and Greenacres Close.

The creation of the orchard will begin with the planting of 12 fruit trees which will be a variety of apple, plum, cherry and pear.

The area will be managed by the Town Council and the Community Orchard will be open and accessible at all times. It will be a place where people can relax and enjoy the fruits of the harvest.

The orchard will be planted later this year.
