Coal Aston Allotments - Water Leak Repair

The Town Council were recently notified by Severn Trent of a serious water leak on a private supply pipe on the allotments at Coal Aston, which was losing approximately 32 litres of water per hour. To stop the leak and water being wasted, the water was turned off at the allotments to allow for investigations to take place as to where the leak was coming from. As landowners, the Town Council then obtained three quotes to carry out the work required, which was completed on Friday 2nd August. The water has now been turned back on at the allotments and Severn Trent have been informed that the pipe has been repaired.
