Please see below for information regarding the Mobile Library Routes for the 12-week period from January 6 to March 28, 2025.
Please note that the North Mobile will be off the road from February 3 to February 7, 2025, and the South Mobile will be off the road from March 25 to March 28, 2025.

Employers National Insurance increases
At the December Council meeting, councillors discussed the effect of the recent central government budget on Town Council finances.

New gritting scheme
Dronfield Town Council voted to trial a new grit project at their December 2024 meeting.
The Council will deliver free 25kg small bags of grit to the more vulnerable residents of the community, who may require the use of grit, but may not be able to safely access a grit bin. Dronfield Town Councillors received a report from NE Derbyshire District Council detailing an evidence-gathering exercise to inform work on the Local Plan.

Dronfield Christmas Lights switch-on 2024
On Friday, 29th November, Dronfield residents turned out in their droves to watch Town Mayor, Coun Pam Jones, and Rev Andy Gore switch-on the Dronfield Christmas Lights in the Library Gardens.

Dronfield Civic Centre Update

Dyche Lane, BESS planning application appeal
At the December Council meeting, councillors heard that YLEM Energy Ltd had lodged an appeal against refusal of planning permission for a battery energy storage site on greenbelt land near to New Leaf garden centre. DTC Office Christmas Closure 2024
The Dronfield Town Council offices will be closed from lunchtime on 24th December 2024.

Allotments meeting
