Footpath Closed - 17th January - 19th January
The footpath from the subway at Gosforth Drive to the the Civic Centre will be closed from Thursday 17th January to Saturday 19th January for resurfacing work.

Stonelow Road to be closed 18th - 22nd February
Derbyshire County Council have given notice that Stonelow Road in Dronfield will be closed to all traffic between 18th - 22nd February inclusive.
Bus Service 44 will have to divert via Holmesdale Road (only recently withdrawn as bus route, still has bus stop flags which should be observed), Green Lane and Snape Hill.

Office times during Christmas and New Year
The normal council office opening times are 10am to 4pm Monday to Friday. However, during the Christmas and New Year festivities the office will be closed from 11:30am on Friday 21st December 2018 and will re-open at 10:00am on Wednesday 2nd January 2019.

Dronfield Christmas Fest this Saturday, 8th December
This Saturday see's the annual Christmas Fest take place in the Civic Hall and Library Gardens between 10am and 4pm.
There will be seasonal refreshments, free craft activities for children, a Santa's Grotto plus a great selection of stalls from many local groups and organisations including the Guides, Cardio Club, Fairtrade, Drone Valley Brewery, Usbourne Books, Caz Cakes plus many more.

Christmas Celebrations begin on 30th November 2018

Thousands turn out to Remember
Thousands of local Dronfield residents turned out to mark 100 years since the end of the First World War. Armistice 100 - Bells to ring out as the nation says 'thank you'
